Rebecca Collins
Rebecca Collins holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Masters of Music in Performance from the Mannes College of Music in Manhattan. She studied oboe with Elaine Douvas of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and both oboe and English horn from Helen Erb of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

Rebecca is currently in her fourth season as Second Oboist and English horn player with the Macon Symphony Orchestra. In addition to performing with the MSO, she performs periodically with the Louisiana Philharmonic, The Atlanta Ballet Orchestra and the Augusta, Greenville (South Carolina) and Anderson (South Carolina) Symphonies. In addition, she enjoys an active chamber music recital schedule and performed with a woodwind trio at the 2001 Clarinet Convention in New Orleans.

Rebecca is one of the founding faculty members of the popular "Oxford Oboes" camp, which takes place each summer.
